Grenadiers Trail - Lonjsko Polje

The Grenadiers Trail starts at the Krapje Visitor Center, guiding you towards Orlinci pasture. At the first point of interest, you can observe Posavina horses. The trail then leads to an enclosure where you can see Turopolje pigs and the breeding herd of Slavonian-Podolian cattle. Afterward, the trail takes you to a watchtower offering a stunning view of Croatia’s largest spoonbill nesting site. Here, you can admire numerous species of wetland birds, including cormorants, squacco herons, little egrets, great egrets, and grey herons.
