Introduction
The Moslavina Museum Kutina had collected a significant number of valuable artworks by 1972, leading to the need to establish a Gallery Department. In 1983, the Ausch Family Palace, built during the Historicist period, was permanently allocated to the Gallery of the Moslavina Museum Kutina by the Kutina Municipal Assembly.
Today, the Gallery Department consists of four collections:
Collection of Academic Art,
Collection of Amateur Art,
Collection of Ivan Milat,
Collection of Drawings by Ivan Branko Imrović.
These collections feature works in various techniques, including oil on canvas, watercolors, graphics, drawings, pastels, and sculptures. The gallery has been significantly enriched by donations from Ivan Milat, Miroslav Šutej, the family of Zorka Sever, the family of Rudolf Donassy, and Anton Cetín. The artworks are diverse in both stylistic and thematic approaches, reflecting the broad scope of the gallery’s collection.
